1. What is the difference between a Podiatrist and a Chiropodist?

The term “Chiropodist” was used before the profession became part of the medical field and required a degree. Today, “Chiropodist” and “Podiatrist” are often used interchangeably and are recognised as protected titles by the Health & Care Professions Council.

  2. What do I need to bring for my first appointment?

Upon booking your first appointment with us, you will receive an email with a link to our patient intake form. This form will allow you to provide all the necessary information we need to ensure the best care.

  3. How often do I need to see you?

Most patients return every 6–8 weeks; however, there are no restrictions on how often you can book. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you are always welcome to schedule an appointment sooner.

  4. Can I see a Podiatrist if I’m Pregnant?

Often, you can experience particular difficulties with your feet during pregnancy. These issues can be addressed by your podiatrist or chiropodist, who will take proper consideration of your needs and tailor your treatment throughout your journey.
